Italian Places, Food & Hotel tells the experience lived at Domaine de Châteauvieux ✽✽ Michelin in Ginevra...
Perched in the Genevan mountains on Peney hill in Satigny, Switzerland's main wine-growing region, the Domaine de Châteauvieux blends into a landscape of vines and serenity. We had the honor to sit at the Chef Table and immerse ourselves totally in the atmosphere of the cuisine of the restaurant "Domaine de Châteauvieux" to learn the mysteries elaborated by the extraordinary chef Philippe Chevrier and his amazing team through a surprise menù , full of tastes, consistency and inebriating scents. the Domaine de Châteauvieux is much more than a gourmet restaurant, it is a real reference point, It is a sensory experience, where the seasonal produce is king. By working the ingredients as close to their nature, structure, and consistency as possible, they can then reveal their aromas, flavours, and originality. Under the encouragement of Philippe Chevrier and Damien Coche, the restaurant creates and offers an idea of simple and refined cuisine. The 16th century interior architecture, a spacious room, precious materials, well-used stone and wood contribute to creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere, very dear to chef Philippe Chevrier. An excellent restaurant, full of gourmet award with a score of 19/20 in Gault & Millau, two Michelin stars, members of Relais & Châteaux, Grandes Tables du Monde and Grandes Tables de Suisse. We were very impressed also by the cellar,A haven of peace reserved for vintages and enthusiasts, where the master sommelier will create the most harmonious pairings between the wine and the dish...Here, through the photos, our experience at Domaine de Châteauvieux:
